Employee giving programs can be a great way for companies to support the causes their employees care about. But even when a company offers a matching program, there can be a lot of friction between wanting to give and actually getting a donation out the door.
That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Teleskope to make employee giving and employer matching so much easier for employees and employers alike.
Teleskope is an AI-powered employee experience platform that helps companies build stronger communities at work through employee resource groups, events, mentoring, volunteering, and more. Now, our partnership unlocks charitable giving and donation matching as part of that same experience.
How The Partnership Works
Teleskope is where employees discover causes and give. Every.org handles the giving behind the scenes.
The goal is simple: make giving feel like a natural part of the employee experience, while the complicated work happens in the background.
When an employee makes a donation through Teleskope, Every.org verifies the nonprofit, processes the gift, delivers the funds, and issues the donor’s tax receipt. When an employer offers a matching program, Teleskope can automatically trigger the match based on the company’s program rules.
The result: employees can support the nonprofits they care about without leaving the experience they already use at work, while employers can make their giving programs easier to participate in and manage.
Friction is the Kryptonite of Generosity - We're Here to Fix That
Many companies want to encourage employees to give back. They may offer donation matching, volunteer programs, or other ways for employees to support nonprofits.
But having a program and getting employees to use it are two different things.
Employees may not know a matching program exists. They may have to find a separate portal, fill out a request form, or provide documentation after making a donation. And behind the scenes, employers have to make sure donations are going to eligible organizations and that matching funds are being handled correctly.
All of that friction can get in the way of something that should be simple: an employee finds a cause they care about and decides to support it.
Now, for employers that offer donation matching, Teleskope can verify the donation against the company’s matching rules and generate the match automatically for standard eligible gifts. Instead of asking employees to submit a separate matching request, the process can happen as part of the original giving experience.
Teleskope helps solve the employee-experience side of that problem by bringing giving into the communities and tools employees already use, while Every.org solves the giving side.
Why Use Every.org?
Every.org supports a wide range of giving methods, from cards and mobile payments to donor-advised funds, stock, crypto, and IRA gifts. This gives employees more ways to support the organizations they care about.
We’re especially excited about this because employee giving can be an important source of support for nonprofits. When an employee chooses to give, and their employer chooses to match that gift, the impact goes even further.
We’ve spent years building best-in-class technology that helps people give to nonprofits and helps nonprofits receive donations across a wide range of asset types.
Now, that same infrastructure can support giving in the workplace.
Bring More Giving Into Everyday Work Life
Together, we’re making it easier for employees to support nonprofits—and easier for employers to help those gifts go further.
