Every.org launched exactly 2 years ago today. In that short amount of time, our team has seen a wave of generosity spread. In our first year, people and organizations on Every.org raised over $3 million for the nonprofit sector. In our second year, that total amount has risen to over $16 million!

We’re so grateful that our accessible giving infrastructure is helping charities get the resources they need to make positive change. That $16+ million has supported over 2,819 nonprofits and continues to grow. Below are just some of those stories.

The rise of crypto-philanthropy

After introducing cryptocurrency donations last spring, it soon become the #1 source of revenue for nonprofits fundraising on Every.org. Today every.org/donate-crypto is the only place where donors can instantly donate crypto to support over 1 million 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and over $5.5 million worth of cryptocurrency has been donated.

It’s amazing to see cryptocurrency donations on Every.org surpass both bank and credit/debit card donations, our two other largest sources of revenue for nonprofits. About 5% came from traditional DAFs, and we have a long-tail of many other sources including stocks, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo so that people can support nonprofits however works best for them. This includes non-monetary support such as ...

Fundraisers

The UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund supports women leaders and their local organizations to build peace and respond to the world’s most urgent crises. They were one of the first to use our new fundraisers feature with their campaign for 1,000 Women Leaders which raised over $80,000 in funds with $1,320 in lasting annual recurring revenue for WPHF. These funds will accelerate WPHF’s efforts in investing in 1,000 women leaders in 1,000 crisis-affected communities by the end of 2025.

Now hundreds of fundraisers have been created on Every.org, ranging from official ones like this to peer-to-peer birthday fundraisers to ...

Turning a celebration into impact

Multiplying impact through our charity API

Giving Multiplier was created by Dr Lucius Caviola and Prof Joshua Greene. Researchers in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. Their research examines the factors that influence charitable giving, with the goal of helping people make wiser charitable giving decisions.

Since their launch in late 2020, they have fundraised over $1.6 million from 3,900 donations. Of this amount, over $1 million has gone to their recommended effective charities.

Special thanks to the generosity of Camp.org and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who is been especially pivotal in investing in our new API. Check out our updated API documentation if you want to integrate giving into your existing product have a new idea and your own vision for how to improve philanthropy.
